31 January 2008: Apparently this has become a very popular part of this website, although I always hoped that people find the History page most interesting. Anyway, I am updating this saga: this is my life in pictures...

Well, this is the beginning of our journey! This is one of the two only known pictures of my maternal great-great grandfather!

Then comes this lady on the left, daughter of the guy above, and my maternal great-grandmother, Khanoom Joon! (the kid is my sister, she enters the picture later)

and this is Khanoom Joon's husband, Agha Joon (naturally! If you know Persian, you get the joke!!)

and then comes their daughter, my beautiful grandmother (forget about my grandfather!!!)

The guy sitting is my mother's father's father, and to make it more confusing, he is also first cousin to Khanoom Joon above!  He looks like me a bit, doesn't he?

Well, naturally, my grandmother married her second cousin, my grandfather (whose picture I don't want to put on!), and the result was this cute, nervous little lass, my mother!!!

She grew-up to be a rather classy girl, yes she did!

She then got married and had this cute angle, my sister (you saw her before!)

Then my mom married my dad!

Here he is: Kambiz Rezakhani... handsome guy; sadly he died when I was just four months old

Here are my mom, dad, my grandmother, her brother, and his wife!

My sister, me, and my step-dad in our garden (yes, this is still the early 80's, hence the moustache!)

The result of above action? The point of whole story, ME! (here with my sister, a cousin of my mom, and a monkey, in London, 1983)

I grew-up in this house in Tehran

By that time, my father had died in a car accident, and my mom married again!

and I ended up having this poor brother who had to live in a box!

So I had to make him a house in the snow!

We traveled a lot, but when I was 18, we moved to the US (that is a very stereotypical picture of Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco)

I am a rather sociable type of person, so I found some friends and grew a goatie!

I went to study in London, and I found even more friends!

Well, I love traveling, so here is a picture of Alhambra in Granada, Spain

...and this is Thingvallir (thing-va-at-lir), near Reykjavik, Iceland
