The History of Iran Page Contents
Iranologie.com's History Page
has
been a personal project of Khodadad Rezakhani since 1996. It is the
first website in the world wide web dedicated to Iran and its history.
Since 2000, the website has been hosted on its own domain name, initially
iranology.com (now defunct) and then at
www.iranologie.com, the present site.
I am the sole writer and editor of iranologie.com and all of the articles in
this site are copyrighted to myself. I am a PhD student of Iranian
History (specialising in the economic history of Iran from 500-700 AD, but
surely interested in all eras).
A Note About the
State of this Site A few months ago, my friends in
Cappuccinno Magazine asked me to
start a column in
English
and Persian to write about the history of Iran. So I did, and in the process
of it, wrote a new version of many of the first chapters of this
monograph in both languages! Consequently, I decided to use the
English version in updating these pages, since about two years ago, an
unfortunate accident (the theft of my old domain name) and the fact that I
did not have a back-up of my files, caused the loss of several chapters. From now on, I will be going through all the chapters and
complete them according to the new data. I also regularly include
related articles written by myself about various subject in history.
